Authentic Georgian Bar Finish
For a truly traditional appearance, externally applied stick-on profiles can be added to align with the internal bars. This creates a fully authentic Georgian window aesthetic, closely replicating original timber glazing designs.
Regency Glass offers solutions to match the colours of perimeter spacer bars for a cohesive finish. To ensure optimal performance, internal Georgian bars are always manufactured slightly narrower than the perimeter spacer bar. For example:
This design allows the glass unit to flex naturally under pressure. Matching internal and perimeter sizes could restrict movement and increase the risk of glass breakage.
